“Building Inclusive and Resilient Multicultural Cities: Navigating the Challenges of Urban Governance, Cultural Entrepreneurship, and Interfaith Harmony”
Call for Papers
We are pleased to announce the call for papers for our upcoming Lahore International Conference on Culture under the theme of “Building Inclusive and Resilient Multicultural Cities: Navigating the Challenges of Urban Governance, Cultural Entrepreneurship, and Interfaith Harmony” which will take place on 16th Feb 2023 at Kinnaird College for Women.
The conference will bring together experts and professionals from various fields to discuss the challenges and opportunities of cultural diversity in urban settings. We aim to create a platform for discussions and exchange of ideas on the challenges and opportunities of cultural diversity in urban governance, cultural entrepreneurship, and interfaith harmony, and promote understanding and tolerance of different cultures, and encourage collaboration and cooperation across cultures.
We are inviting submissions on the following themes:
Urban Governance: Navigating the challenges of multicultural cities, including issues of integration, inclusion, and social cohesion.Cultural Entrepreneurship: Exploring the role of culture in economic development, including the impact of cultural tourism, creative industries, and cultural heritage.Interfaith Harmony: Examining the role of religion and spirituality in promoting social cohesion and understanding in multicultural cities.
We welcome submissions from a wide range of disciplines, including sociology, anthropology, urban studies, geography, economics, political science, history, education, business, and government.
Submission Guidelines:
Paper Abstract should be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.Papers Abstract should be between 400-800 words in length, including abstract and references.Paper Abstract should be prepared in accordance with the conference’s formatting guidelines, which will be provided upon acceptance.Abstract should be submitted in Word format via email at kclcd@kinnaird.edu.pk by 08th Feb 2023.
Fee:
Fee for Per Abstract is Rs. 4500/-.
Selection Process:
All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process.Notification of acceptance will be sent to authors by 10th Feb 2023.Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published online after the conference.
